or, when you think sonic's going to use a special, charge up a smash attack
when using the homing attack he can't airdodge away, and if he jumps out of his spin dash/charge his forward air has crappy range compared to dedede's forward smash/tilt so you're free to punish
i'm not sure I haven't tested it but I'm pretty positive it might work
