Author Topic: tell us the truth pie crust  (Read 68141 times)

That's the thing, it only could lead to lying about other things, or doing more than just lying. It's the same logic as saying that violet video games will influence people to actually go out and steal stuff / kill people. It's only an issue once they're actually harming others, directly or indirectly.

In this case, it only affects Flatflyer, and should be resolved between them accordingly, but to the rest of us it's not an issue at all. In SkullCandy's case, him lying about his gender is about as big as an issue as Pie Crust doing it, and his art thief cases were dealth with accordingly. You can't antagonize people for what they might do.
theres a pretty big difference between videogames influencing someone to be violent and someone who we know to have lied to lie again
its by no mean outside the realm of possibility that pie crust could have/will lie to us again because we already know that lying is a thing that he does, same deal with Skull Candy as previously mentioned

There's a vast ocean of difference between simply telling a lie and outright stealing something that does not belong to you.

Do I need to give, like, more examples of this happening? Because there's actual proof of this sort of stuff actually happening, so it's a pretty good idea to assume the worst in this case.
Because there's Elementalwolf, who claimed to be female for a short time and was an absolute stuff, Kitty Moonlight, who, if I remember right, claimed to be female and ended up getting banned for trolling, Skull Candy, who I've mentioned, I've seen Counter98 pretend to be female ingame a few times for god knows why...
I would point out more people but I'm too lazy to dig up the archives.

But again, it's not an issue for you unless it directly affects you, therefore you and the other 36 pages worth of people shouldn't give a stuff.

It's a horrible mentality to, instead of forgetting and forgiving for doing something silly and stupid, to forever think of them as a horrible person and convince others to do the same. This kind of thinking has been rooted in this community for years now, and it's incredibly ridiculous.

Like how a lot of "I'm new" topics end up as detective stuffstorms just because some of them tend to be returning users? Newsflash: always assuming the worst in people makes you look like a massive stuffhead.

We should be friends.

I thought this ended last night

There's also My little brother did it, in which case it's right to assume the person in question is a stuff, if you want to get into the subject of things like that.

>Starts out as a question post

>Gender found, everyone slaps themselves on the backs
>Quickly becomes philosophical about the effects of lying.

Stay tuned! Next on the Blockland Forums, we'll be onto religion and the subject of whether or not Obama is secretly Riddler!

Regardless of the truth. I see the white knights going strong in here.
