Author Topic: My Dad's computer can connect to the internet via ethernet, but not wireless.  (Read 552 times)

Recently had a problem starting up; we did a system restore. We can connect via ethernet but we cannot seem to connect at all thru wireless. You guys can ponder over this while I eat.

just to be 100% clear, it was able to do this before that restore, right?

Try re-downloading the wireless drivers

Maybe it just doesn't have a Network Card that supports wireless?  Or were you able to connect to the internet through wireless before the system restore?

My sister's couldnt connect and I went into the router to "Wi-Fi Protected Setup" (WPS), clicked this button and my sister was able to connect


yes, we could connect to wireless Internets before all of the problems occured (loginui.exe corrupted, system restore)

reinstall them.
>> Device manager >> Wireless >> Uninstall. >> Reboot, redownload from manufacturers website.
