I made a wheel with shock absorbers

Though I'm not exactly sure how to make it work yet, since the brake disc and calipers are supposed to jump up and down with the suspension, rotate when steering AND not spin. If you model it with the wheel they will spin, if with the springs - if I understand how they work correctly - they won't rotate when steering and in some cases even go through the rims because of that. There is no steering animation for springs, is there? Because that would be very useful here.

EDIT: According to the post on garagegames forums by Martin Hoover I'm able to use steering sequence for this(which I already use for steering wheel too), awesome.

Also, on the Topic of Skyline (as well as Marussia)

I noticed yesterday when I spawned the vehicles, and changed the color of the vehicle, the Headlights and Tailights changed colors with the vehicle. Tailights still showed red and orange, but they were much darker then the original. Headlights became the color of the vehicle.
I'll look into it

I'm sure you could animate the shocks and the brake discs with the steering animation.

Those look cool, and thanks for looking into it.

Update: Just to give you an Idea:

Here is the Skyline:

It seems like it only happens when shaders are off, on minimal or up this problem doesn't exist - which is why I didn't even notice it. I'll see if I can fix it.

This can be fixed by making the recolourable parts (stuff with transparent textures, such as blank.png etc.) and non-recolourable parts separate objects.

And, once again, thank you.

Aww yus, interior. It's a bit  better planed out this time so it's a bit less messy than Skyline's.

There's still some small things to add, like the handbrake which I forgot, the rear and side mirrors, and the wheel is supposed to be on the right and not the left (seriously how could I forget that?)

oh my god that is amazing

try to make the back seats less of a 90 degree and more of an 85 or 80

Well technically, the rear seats in the Evo8 are Bucket seats, so they kinda sink down, so imo, it looks fine.

oh!!! ok!

Good news everybody - Evolution made it in game with Custom Vehicle Support!

Now the stock variant doesn't really have much by way of customization - mostly just re-paintable parts, but you can:

  • Re-color the hood (saying just in case since the screenshot doesn't show it)
  • Take off the spoiler, in case you want to turn the car into family sedan or something
  • Install mud flaps (re-paintable)
  • Re-color shock absorbers and calipers
  • Re-color front seats
  • Hang black 'n' white dices on the rear view mirror
  • Put bubble heads on the dashboard (Their head is 110% bigger for added cuteness) - there's currently 4 options, I might add more later:
    • Blockhead
    • TheTurtorn
    • NightHawk
    • Filipe1020

I still have animations to export and some adjustments to do, so don't think that the stock variant is 100% done.

I increased the angle slightly, it's pretty much unnoticable but it's there
