It said I had to update and I did but now I don't have any chat window at all, tried using the pastebin in op and still nothing.

easiest way is to leave the pastebin as the update URL, then go to the dashboard and hit "trigger update" after you tick the checkbox.

that's for tampermonkey, trying to figure how the hell I use greasemonkey
