issteamdown.com is the worst. it includes an incredibly minimal amount of information, and I'm pretty sure I remember seeing someone say that it works by saying "yes" when a lot of people have been checking it, rather than actually seeing if there's an issue with steam

but issteamdown gave me this cool website where i can buy and download 1 dollar indie games that are insanely fun. oh well though.
