Well, i changed my halberd to a level 5 gargoyle halberd. I also have balder leggings.

beat the capra demon and get the key to the depths

the depths arent terribly hard except the butchers (which arent that hard either)

near the end of the depths (before the optional Gaping Dragon (lol) boss battle) theres a gate that looks like it was bent open. Go through that and enter blighttown (bring a lot of blooming purple moss)

dont worry you'll be able to do the 2nd playthrough much much quicker

youll just end up flying through the 2nd playthrough in 1/4 the time

my first playthrough took about 45 hours. Now Im at NG+++ and Im only at 80 hours.

lol i remember restarting like 3 times trying 2 get used to the game

needless to say i made more progress for every time i restarted

wasnt until a few weeks ago i decided to keep a save file and fulfill its pilgrimage

its not too bad

the jump from NG to NG+ is pretty bad and NG++ was frustrating because I couldnt one hit kill enemies anymore

NG+++ isnt bad so far
