LS990 has Blisspop, good AOSP based rom, you also have Carbon for KitKat which I've heard is fantastic.

I have a G2, which has similar recovery methods as the G3 so I'd be willing to help you if you decide to move to a custom rom.

I keep switching between the leaked OTA for my phone and Blisspop
