i havent ran into any problems compatability-wise; i only use wine to emulate blockland and starcraft

I use linux as a daily driver. The only thing that this argument applies to is PC games and very specific closed source applications.
I get it if you need a particular application for something important, but otherwise linux is a perfectly plausible platform.
Also gaming. Linux isn't good for gaming at all.

it's not windows
also you have much more control
and it looks hella fine depending on what de/wm you're using

why do people use windows for non-gaming things
