MMD (aka, MikuMikuDance) is a japanese celshaded 3d animation program made by Crypton Future Media. While it was mostly intended for Vocaloid AMV's, One of the programmers, Yu Higuchi, leaked the source code for all to use for various things. This spawned a number of various animations, memes, AMV's, models, motion data files, pose data files, etc. made with the program. Yu even added both a English UI and support for english descriptions/bonenames in later releases.
