I've designed a 3 stage rocket with 2 solid boosters and one small liquid fuel engine to transport a station captain. The last stage ran out of fuel before i was able to achieve rendezvous. I ejected the captain to attempt to maneuver him to the station with his thrusters, this was futile as the station zoomed by at about 200m/s. He landed on Kerbin with no injuries.
The station has also been reorganized to be in a straight line, as to not cause trajectory changes due to uneven weight distribution when the engine is engaged.
I will design a drop-shock rover to be attached for future mun exploration.
