Author Topic: I installed quicktime and now all of my games crash  (Read 767 times)

I uninstalled it and deleted the folder. What do I need to do to fix this?

all of them? every game? that's kinda weird. I don't think games generally have anything to do with quicktime
are you using a mac?

Windows 8.1
I tried Starbound, Hearthstone, and League of Legends
Audiosurf is working, which is funny because it's the only reason I installed quicktime

EDIT: Minecraft works fine, Terraria does not work, Goat simulator does not work

So steam-integrated games and league and hearthstone don't work

Starbound gives me a few error messages, so I'll give you those

Access violation detected at 0xbe8a622 (Read of address 0x7e28388)

It then gives me a Stack Trace and then a couple of generic runtime errors for good measure.

EDIT: Launching the game with OpenGL works, no errors.

That's some kind of memory error. It might or might not be relevant to the problem, but trying restarting your computer. (This is good for many things beyond refreshing the memory)

Ok, thanks, will do

EDIT: Looks like everything is better now.
