Power Went Out - PS3 not turning on

Alright so me and my friend were playing GTA V and all of a sudden my internet goes out and he calls me up saying his power went out (he lives a few miles away), so anyway, now his power is back on and his PS3's red light is NOT coming on and it wont turn on.

Is this thing totally fried? Is there a way to fix this or naa?

He has a PS3 Super Slim.

Yea, he tried 3 different outlets. And either way, the one it was plugged into also was being used by his TV which still works.

Power strips don't do anything. If you have a surge protecting one then it's a tiny bit better. Usually the best way is to have a household surge protector.

I have a really good one, my family can't afford to replace something on short notice, let alone replace my Wii U.
