First of all, please excuse me if I'm posting on the wrong page, as there is no thread for forum questions. Anyways, I'm trying to set a picture as my avatar. But every time I try to, it does not upload. Do I need to set the picture as something? Please help.

what size are you making it dimension wise?

just tell him

your image must be 75x75 pixels.
It must be either .jpg .png .gif
it must be under a certain file size limit. I not sure what that limit is though.

Along with the size limit, I think the file also needs to be under 5 megabytes^{[citation needed]}.

4.5kb max, i usually make it 74x74 just for good measure

Alright, it's 75x75 and a PNG. Still not working
Not sure how to tell the dimensions or file size on a macbook.

It's 4 KB with 40x40 and it still says it's too big. Suggestions?

if its not updating at all when you update the profile, refresh the page 1-2 times and it'll work.
