While this is a good idea, how would I resize this temp model? These areas can be MASSIVE (entire map-wide areas, etc), and .dts can't be easily rescaled for this purpose. Is there some alternative method I'm not aware of that can handle this?

setScale does not work on resizing brick models, which is where the problem is.

You should also have the choice between box and spherical area checks. You could switch from using triggers to using scheduled container box searches and container radius searches.

Indeed. That might screw up the placement, however. Hm.

Shoot center of circle, shoot limit of radius, good game. Pretty easy to place, but the problem might be a bit of coding. I'll consider it.

I would just use a scalable semi-trans static shape, so you can actually see the area being affected.

Hm. Should they come pre-scaled or allow for custom scaling? Preferably the second. If so, what would be the best way to define a custom area, keystrokes or a GUI beforehand that asks for size?

And I'll need to consider how to make it behave like a temp brick. I'll skim through other scripts later and .dump() things to get how, but I'm at school right at the moment, so I'll hold that off for later.
