190 proof is pretty insane. I can do 40% w/o issue -- I can even chug it. I bet you 60% / 120 proof would be my limit where it's like unacceptably high alcohol content. 190 would probably make me regret the decision, but I'd do it just to see what its like.

You just gulp it. You open your throat as the liquor comes in, and swallow it all at once. It's kind of a learned skill. The issue isn't getting it down -- it's keeping it down.
