1) Because they're fun and enjoyable.
2) It depends. I can give you the scientific answer and tell you that certain drugs (e.g. Benzos) block stress messages in your brain, but I don't think that's the answer you're looking for. It takes your mind off stress. However, I don't use drugs to relieve stress. I think that's a sort of dangerous thing.
3) Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
4) Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
5) No.
6) Not really. My life would probably be approximately as "good" or successful if I didn't do drugs. But during the time periods where I am doing drugs, I'm benefiting from them. And I take measures to ensure that any harm outside of the time I take them is minimized, so that it's worth it.

I wouldn't classify Marijuana as a drug because it grows out of the ground. For the same reason, I don't see shrooms as a drug either

opium also grows out of the ground. opium and shrooms are drugs.

thats kinda silly dont you think? it's status as a drug has no bearing on whether or not it comes from a plant or the dirt or whatever.
What's up with people applying their own definition to already defined things lately? It doesn't really matter if you do or don't consider this or that a drug. I could say that I consider squirrels to be birds because of how much time they spend in trees, but all I'd look like then is an idiot.

drug: a medicine or other substance which has a physiological effect when ingested or otherwise introduced into the body.

generally people who say 'weeds not a drug' are the same people that dont research the drugs they partake in, hence your ignorance.

I don't mean to get anyone angry or anything but I have a few questions to ask for a personal survey of mine if you don't mind

1) why do you do drugs?
A: To take the stress off after a long day at work/school, to enhance social situations with friends, to relieve headaches/migraines, soreness and sickness.
2) why are drugs better at relieving stuff such as stress?
A: I don't know the science of it, but marijuana noticeably makes me more calm, patient and productive.
3) did you have any mental or physical illnesses before beginning drugs
A: No
4) do you have mental or physical illness after taking drugs?
A:No
5) are you addicted?
A: I enjoy smoking often, but I can stop/take a break whenever I want. I'm not dependent on it at all.
6) have drugs noticeably improved your life?
A: Marijuana has, absolutely. I really started to get into smoking my second semester of community college. I finished my first semester with a 2.5 GPA and started to smoke really often during winter break. Since then, I've regularly smoked and maintained a 3.5-4.0 GPA 5 semesters in a row and rekindled a lot of old relationships.

weed is a drug and medicine. if it's used medicinal purposes, then it's medicine. still classifies as a drug though.

1) its a reliable outlet i can use to escape for a little bit. it turns nothing to do into something to do, and drugs from my experience have always been the best ice breaker
2) i dont know if id say drugs are better than other motives of relieving stress, but they definitely yield very pleasing results reasonably quickly
3) ive never been diagnosed with an issue
4) ive never been diagnosed with an issue
5) possibly. sooner or later ill be in the phase where ill be too lazy to buy drugs, and thats typically when ill go on monthly breaks

that doesn't mean i dont indulge sometimes when the opportunity arises tho
6) i think so. it made me so much more sociable, and it introduced me to a lot of good people i know i would never have met otherwise, or even if i did, would never have had the strong relationships i have with them now. i always wonder "where would i be right now if i never did drugs" and i honestly dont have an answer. i feel like my life wouldnt be as awesome as it is thats for sure!!!!

25i made me biloveual

I don't mean to get anyone angry or anything but I have a few questions to ask for a personal survey of mine if you don't mind

1) why do you do drugs? For fun and to expand my mind
2) why are drugs better at relieving stuff such as stress? Not sure how to interpret that or what it's better than, I don't think drugs are ever a good thing to depend on for relief as a substitute for working things out for yourself, though at the same time they are very effective at what they do and can be a surefire method of relief from problems such as stress
3) did you have any mental or physical illnesses before beginning drugs no
4) do you have mental or physical illness after taking drugs? no
5) are you addicted? no
6) have drugs noticeably improved your life? I don't know what my life would be like had I never used drugs but I have had multiple revelations and positive changes in my life that have come about through drug use, as well as many good friends and experiences that took place in the presence of drugs. They aren't essential but a lot of close connections and relationships have begun for me whilst on drugs. People are able to connect and share without social influence or self restriction. The friends I've made have also been of a similar mindset to my own and are the kind of people I want to be with and can benefit from our relationships.
