because for some of us and some of our problems it is
i havent seen a single person in this thread say that pills should be banned and everyone should just smoke marijuana
but the fact is that for some people whatever medicine isnt marijuana might not help them as much as marijuana

i don't think weed is a cure, it just lessons the effects of what your medical problems are (literally the same thing as prescription pills)

It helps me mentally and physically. So yeah, for me it is a magical fix-all disease. It also brought me closer to my family because without it I just get reclusive. Turns out I have a nice family.
Sure I can take a bunch of pills for my issues but the side effects are terrible. If it wasn't for marijuana I would have probably been enrolled into a mental hospital until they put me on some crazy-pills.

Bingo, you hit the nail on the head. Pills don't do stuff but cover up the problem and make you sick (usually)

pills are usually to prevent and actively cure the illness
weed is just delaying the inevitable
also i really don't understand how inhaling a combusted plant seemed like a good idea to you guys in the first place
