So during this sprint race on a dirt track somewhere in NY, Stewart bumped into Ward's car causing him to crash. Ward then got out of his car and started making his way, pointing at Stewart. Stewart drove by and struck Ward sending him flying a good 20 - 30 feet. Ward later died in the hospital.
In the video it seems as though Stewart revved while passing by Ward.
