Author Topic: huge nerds start petition to name a new nebula after anime girl - 18,104 signers  (Read 3226 times)

What a terrible choice in characters :/

Let's start a petition to name one "Rotondo"

yeah and i was then told that it was impossible. that post was the op. the first post. that i made before the other one. the one before i had that knowledge. before he made his post. the post telling me it wasn't possible. that i listened to and made my other post.

That's not at all what this post implies:

my point was that over 18,000 people actually supported this, not that i thought it was really going to get named after a forgetin anime girl

Here, you're trying to say you were never worried about it ever getting named after Madoka. That doesn't sound at all like you thought it could be be renamed at one point, then became aware that it was unlikely.

This is called "backpedaling."

The galaxy is always named after the person who discovered it. It is an extremely honorable(thanks!!1) thing to discover a galaxy,

forgetin weebs.

also dkamm let it go, or I'LL REPORT YOU TO THE CYBER POLICE

Maybe all 18k of these people could put their heads together and discover their own galaxy and name it whatever the forget they want.

This is called "backpedaling."

Kimon is secretly excited about anime nebula but doesn't want to look like a gigantic weeboo so he's feigning disinterest. It's a very awkward experience. Maybe it's best to leave the guy alone to sort through his insecurities.

The galaxy is always named after the person who discovered it. It is an extremely honorary thing to discover a galaxy,

I'm just being a richard now, but the correct word would be honorable. Honorary would be something that is awarded. You aren't awarded with the discovery of a galaxy.

Do the cyber police have jurisdiction over this galaxy?
