Author Topic: how involved are you with music  (Read 2803 times)

since we're also apparently talking about what we listen to

I make atrocities in Famitracker I call "compositions" So yeah, I guess pretty involved.

I'm a singer, I'm trying to learn composition, I play piano, and I use headphones constantly

get on my level B)

unfortunately i can only surpass your level, i'm all those things and more

unfortunately i can only surpass your level, i'm all those things and more
I also have a ~$1000 listening station, probably should've mentioned that first

i have no use for one so whatever

I play cello and I guess I'm good at it

i have no use for one so whatever
if you listen to music, good audio equipment is useful

My 20$ pair of skull candy headphones work just fine. I don't see why you need to spend a thousand bucks on an audio station. It's like spending a thousand bucks on a keyboard and mouse for your computer.

if you listen to music, good audio equipment is useful
wait did you just mean fancy headphones and stuff
i thought you meant radio equipment
in that case, i have good enough headphones,
so whatever

It's like spending a thousand bucks on a keyboard and mouse for your computer.
no, it's not lol

headphones are an brown townog instrument, they function off of physics and acoustics, making a good keyboard is a forget of a lot easier than making a good headphone

plus I was talking about all audio gear; source, amp AND headphones

but whatever, not everyone has the ears for this stuff

nor do they even care for that matter

i know i sure as heck don't care
if it works it works, anything else is a waste of money

lol i've listened to $300 headphones and 99 cent earbuds and they sound identical

if it works it works, anything else is a waste of money
except whether or not something "works" is not binary in this case

but think what you want

lol i've listened to $300 headphones and 99 cent earbuds and they sound identical
cool? I spent $100 on my most recent headphone and it blows the $800 headphone I got for christmas out of the water

its not how much you spend, it's what you buy

the only difference is how long they'll last
my skull candy headphones are an exception, they're made of loving adamantium

except whether or not something "works" is not binary in this case

but think what you want
because price is always indicative of performance, definitely
okay, not everyone has razor-sharp ears like you do

I mean which person ever needs to know the difference between 44100 and 48000 bitrate.
