Author Topic: What Is The Origin of your Forum or In-game name?  (Read 5393 times)

Spur of the moment cool sounding letters that I made up for a psn account when I got a PS3 for my fifteenth birthday.

Also Mercury Cougar XR-7

I have some other names I use on alt accounts that sound cool (or kept them because they'd be snapped up within hours from popularity). I primarily use those for spying on players at servers that I administrate, just so people aren't on their best behavior just cause an admin is around.

it just came up.
i dont really know why

(IGN) Biome because random name that sounded cool
(old) Zenon because random name that sounded cool
Kimono is a type of dress in japan
Waru means Evil in japanese

started out as "legitcake," which i stole from some minecraft video

then when i made my first forum account, i wanted it to be different than my ingame name so i made up "mrmccakey"

then people just started calling me "cakey" for short

then it stuck :I

red john is the name of a fictional serial killer

"family" reasons sort of??
also i like pillsbury so that helps

I was looking at animals on Wikipedia and I saw caribou listed, and I said to myself: "gee, this seems like a good Blockland Forums username!".

My forum name originated from an 11 year old mind.

My superior and more common username, L's & D's, is an abbreviation of Lemons & Dragons, which were from my two obsessions at the time; Neil Cicierega and Skyirm.

back when I was younger I used to use "Torin11" but then on a game I signed up for that name was taken so I used "Torin01", but then later on I signed up for a forum (Not this one) and they said Torin01 too short so I used "Torin0101"
thus the legend was born
EDIT: also Torin is my real name, meaning "Chief" in Irish.

I like space and 1255 was my lucky number back in '09.

Not much to it.

my in-game is ravenpaw (which should be pretty obvious without the need to explain it)

i got my forum name when we first got the x-box 360, and i really liked tes: oblivion, idk why the 20 though. basically used this for everything

funny thing is, someone actually took the name on minecraft (i'm such an idiot i spelled my name wrong on it, lookout for OblivongateIV everyone) and on roblox.
