every amoled phone ever has had issues with burn in
it's not about battery life it's about the screen itself, if you use a specific application a lot some of the elements will permanently appear on the screen unless you use a burn in "fixer" app or some stuff that literally just wears the screen all at once. higher brightnesses speed up the process.
don't even get me started on their loving software either
I mean, OLED is susceptible to screen burn, but I'm not sure you know how it works.
You need to have a single image displayed for prolonged periods of time, with absolutely NO change in the image. Regular usage won't really hurt it. If you leave your phone on without a 'daydream' and have it so it never goes to sleep, then yeah, you're gonna get screen burn.
Regular usage won't hurt it. You can even take it a step further and have basic knowledge on screen burn-in to turn the 99% probability of it into 99.99% by taking usually unneeded precautionary measures.
