You dont need any tips, youll do fine. Ignore pretty much anything these idiots tell you to do and just go to school and talk and youll live. Seniors wont hunt you down in the hall and shove you in a locker like on TV.

The only tip I have for you is regarding your title, its "high school" - Remember that, because I lost a lot of points for "High School" or "Highschool" on my essays.

Make sure to show up 10 minutes late to every class, punch people in the face for talking, and miss the toilet when you use the bathroom. Everybody will know who you are.

i know that sounds silly, but people will respect you. its changed my senior year for the better in every single way shape or form, and not just school related 
the best thing that really ever happened to me in school, specially high school:

be yourself. dont change who you are. just do your thing and dont care if people dont like it. in 9th grade i just said forget it and owned it and it was the best decision i could have ever made :)
