Author Topic: some sounds on my headphones are only comming from the right ear? (Read 990 times)

so i just replaced the 3.5mm plug on my headphones and for some reason, sounds like voices and percussion instruments are only coming out of the right ear. the right ear is also a little louder than the left one. sounds that are meant to come out of the right ear also come out faintly from the left. the left ear also gets feedback at a certain volume.

i have checked the wires and they dont appear to be touching.

funny thing, on a few of my vocaloid songs, i can hear the voice from both ears. no matter what pitch

It might be the headphones, they could be dieing.

try inserting the jack only halfway into the port

try barely jiggling and twisting it around
when its right where you want it, tape it

i get only sound out of the left ear. no wait... there is a small point where it comes out of both but its mono.

Sorry man, I have this too. Depending on how old your device is either the headphone jack is deteriorating or the earbuds are.

your headphones are forgeted. buy a new pair.

i went through 4-5 buds over the last two years ever since i got my phone lol.
