Author Topic: How Old/What grade are you in?  (Read 1748 times)

19 years old, heading to University for my first year in just 10 days time.
Traditionally would be 18 for my first year, but stayed a year longer in college to take an additional qualification and repeat a couple of exams.

pretty much the same except I took a year out of education rather than repeating a year.

UK schools are completely different from UK schools.
Each country seems to favour different ways of categorising schools and levels of education, and sometimes different areas of the same country.

Don't half make it a nuisance when discussing school years/grades.

I meant that UK schools are different from other UK schools. There's nothing that sets it in stone. You can have as much of a difference between school systems in Scotland and England (or even say, Liverpool and London) as you can between England and America.

But yeah, maybe my phrasing doesn't read as well as I thought it did.

Nah, its fine. Honestly, it was just a bit confusing without your explanation, as it looked like a spelling mistake. Thanks for clearing it up.
