My Windows Desktop stopped working!

I can't even left click the desktop without it saying "Windows Explorer has stopped working." then "Windows Explorer is restarting."
Can I get some help? Please!?

what windows version are you using

have you tried going on the task manager and closing explorer.exe, then executing it again via file> run > explorer.exe?
it might not be shutting down properly or something

It coukd be a virus, it turned out It was some stupid adware so I just got some adware removing program.

do you have windows 8.1. if so, its a bug. shut off your computer

if your taskbar disappears when explorer crashes you can press ctrl+shift+esc to bring up windows task manager and under the applications tab press new task button type in "explorer" and it'll come back

or just try restarting your computer
