just wanted to see whats going on up here

Just expanded a bit.  Not much else.

Btw, I never figured out who this was.  Who is this?

To be honest, I have no loving clue, but they're gone now so I'll just scratch that outta there.

Also, in response to the 10th RE was it?

Aspidis begins whipping the forget out of their military, and getting them into as much shape as they can. The emperor decrees that in the coming years, there will be a military reform under the guidance of Centurion Malfurion. The military reform decrees that any man may enlist in the army, you aren't required to have a referral or a home, and you need not buy your own equipment, rather the crown or the noble houses of the corresponding region will pay for their equipment.

Atenisia begins to transmit their City Guard into a proper army. Secretly, over the years, Atenisian Guard Generals have been training the men to fight Albiton or for Albiton.

These Generals are one of the first to be appointed into the council; the King's heir, whoever it may be, comes back to Atenisia from Avalonia and immediately offers a ground trade route around Albiton to Aspidis to Aspidis.

Talks spread in western Aspidis of an uprising, and a returning to independence.

Under the new Ivēxür Erin XX, Erinaum passes a law stating that Zēnian mercenaries are now permitted the same marshal and civil rights as normal Erinamese.  Full civic rights are granted to the Tsekēnese, and an brown townysis of the Tsekēnese military capacity is to be placed spanning the next 20 years.  Partial civil rights and marshal rights are granted to the Bēlänese.

Caprica

Government:
Meritocracy
Representatives from the many Craftsmen guilds
Head(s) of state: I'm too lazy to update this
Prominent government members: None atm
Capitol city: The white city of Marblemount
Intentions of your government: To create the most marvelous works. Explore their surroundings, and expand into them.

Made up of many city states, ruled by the most prominent guild in that area who are then ruled by the elected head. The people of Caprica are not war like, and so for that reason do not have a very large standing army. However, those who wish to serve can join the border patrol units, or the royal guardsmen who protect the many city states. Capricans focus on crafts, more than war (Though crafting beautiful armor and weapons is common), with a small portion of the guild community interested in science and math.

Foreign relations:
Military Alliances: None
Trade partners: Auria, Atenisia
Organizations: Nome
Collaborating with: None

Demographics:
Model culture: Italian
Population: 725,587
Official language: Latin
Other languages: Greek, and some Germanic languages
Demonym: Caprican
Currency: Gold, Copper, and Silver coins

Military:
Royal Guard: 7500
Border patrol: 3500

Royal guardsmen are wearing hardened leather, fur lines the inside to make it comfortable. Over the leather is a soft cloth tabard with the kingdoms colors, gold and blue. They wield large wooden tower shields and long spears with bronze tips, they also have a club for close quarters, and some have short bows. More like police officers, they are trained soldiers but not meant for open combat. Spread throughout the kingdom to keep the peace in the many city states that make up Caprica.

The border patrol are mostly made of cavalry. They wear light leather armor, they are also issued a thick wool cloak for warmth. They wield a short bronze sword and a small leather buckler, they also have short bows. Better at scouting than actual combat, first warning for any intruders.

There are other units tba but im too lazy to write about them

Just so you all know, any and all posts from the last topic are still relevant, including REs.  This is just picking up the activity since Miko is stepping down.

With the passing years and the new technology that they gained from the diplomatic ending of the war with Albiton, Aspian blacksmiths go to town on making efficient iron tools and weapons to begin to slowly replace their military and crown supported craftsmen, as well as enabling them to sell them independently.

Numerous designs, albeit slowly, are finding themselves being incorporated into veteran legions for testing on the field.

Design A, produced by the House Alacotus and their blacksmiths

Design B, produced by the House Valero and their blacksmiths

And finally, Design C, produced by Clan Graeich of the west and their blacksmiths.

Three different legions testing three different designs, to see which is the most efficient in combat.

Talks spread in western Aspidis of an uprising, and a returning to independence.

The houses and clans of the west are notified to attempt to peacefully reassure the people that Aspidis is best, lest they risk and unnecessary and ultimately violent outcome, and possible enslavement to keep civil unrest to a complete minimum. Living as free men is better than living in chains.

Diplomats escorted by the second test legion are sent southward, through unclaimed territory to both spread word of Aspidis, but also to seek out Auria in hopes of securing a trade route between the two. Again, via talking to the native tribes and traveller that would be willing to communicate, they get their sweet asses down there and offer trading between the two, considering the war has ceased, for now.

Atenisia wants to increase trade relations with Aspidis.

Atenisia wants to increase trade relations with Aspidis.

Yeah sure

Work on Avalonia's awesome fortress port city in Plexia's island reaches completion.  It is thusfar Avalonia's most densely fortified city (Nazgar has more in total, but ratio of military personnel and construction relative to civilian personnel and construction is lower).  Fortifications are built in Avalonia's settlements in the Northeast as well (those ones up by Xinxangpingpongmitsubistuffoy otaricenoodles).

More Avalonian forces meet up with the ones at this highly fortified city in preparation for an invasion of the Bequelans.

Rumors spread that in the Pachtland, secret tunnels and vaults similar to those under Nazgar are being constructed by Avalonian renters.  It is unknown how much truth these rumors contain, and they are mostly overlooked.

The Erinamese Naval group dispatched to the Plexian area begins to head to the rendezvous point, but gets cut off 30 miles out by a 140-ship fleet of the Bequelan Navy, sporting at least four clan flags.

Messenger hawks are sent to the Avalonian force to say that we are nearby, but under attack.

The Avalonian forces are too few in number to set sail to do battle at sea with such a monstrous fleet.  Something to this effect is sent back to the Erinamese fleet.  Nonetheless, a few of Avalonia's quicker warships are sent out to attack the enemy in hopes that some may be lured away from the main fleet and/or killed with fire or something (ballista activate!).  The quickest ships are sent back to Avalonia to get reinforcements.  Troops at the fortress port city prepare to defend the place.
