Author Topic: Does Gandalf ever say the word "beard?"  (Read 883 times)

I need an audio clip of Gandalf saying the word "beard" for a project. Does he ever actually say the word, and does anybody happen to remember when he might have said it? It's a 30s radio trailer for a silent film I made. If all goes well, I'll post it here once it's done

IT'S PERFECT.

thank you. :)

Well, beards were considered a very valuable thing among the dwarves, so it's much more likely that he would have said such a thing in one of the hobbit movies, possibly as a compliment or polite remark (i.e. "may your beard grow ever longer"). I cannot think of any specific examples though, unfortunately.

I do know that Gimli at one point says, "Not the beard!" although I doubt that would fit what you're looking for.
