Kid gets bullied. Goes home and plays Minecraft. Lightning strikes his house and somehow shoves him in his laptop. Kid wakes up looking at the sky and is all blocky.
Bully enters the game, bully and kid now have to survive and make friendship blah blah and beat Minecraft so they can go home.
Im joking, but I can't shake the feeling it will ride along this path

do you not get the concept of a movie adaptation or something
books are made into movies all the time, I'd go so far as to say that I've liked more book movies than originals tbh

also, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World was a pretty successful movie and it sounds like a similar concept
