What would you recommend for a stray that has probably been showing up on your property repeatedly? It can be reasonably assumed that this has happened before, considering the nature of stray animals.

Yeah race didn't have to be mentioned in the Zimmerman case either, but if it wasn't Dallas it'd be somebody else. Fact of the matter is: Race WAS brought up, and I was defending Dallas from being called a tribal when he wasn't being tribal.

A normal, civilised person would simply remove the cat from their house.
Cat's have a scruff on the back of their neck that you can grab them from without much force and not cause harm. Furthermore, you can grab it by it's body.
You can give a gentle toss to a cat and it will land safely and bolt away.

You DON'T have to strangle it and launch it across the street.

There's a right way and a wrong way to handle an animal.

There was no reason whatsoever to grab it by it's throat, or throw it as hard as he did.

Or, you can always just chase it off, which also happens to work.

When I want a cat to know that it shouldn't do something the most I have to do is stomp the ground near it and shout "Hey!" or "Oi!" or something similarly loud and aggressive and it'll run off and never do it again. Manhandling an animal just because it was doing something you didn't particularly like is NOT a reasonable response in any way, shape or form; responding in such an aggressive manner to anything as minor as "cat was stealin my dogs eats!!1" is a clear sign that you have problems responding appropriately to a wide range of basic situations.
