Base price is past $16,000, and I doubt he wants a bared down base model.

Don't get a rice burner
Don't get anything from the 80s or 90s
Don't get anything the color gray, white, or black
Don't get a prius
Don't get a not-so-smart car
Don't get a Fiat
Don't get a land titanic if you plan on having to parallel park
Don't get a giant pickup truck

I got a used 2012 ford ranger for about $15,000 last year.
You said you lived in a rural area, a truck fits.

Then again the mileage is a little low. But hey, its a nice car.

I MIGHT be able to push up to 20,000 max.

My dad drives a 2003(?) Toyota Camry, and it's pretty good. But I'm not sure about the Bluetooth

why???

Don't buy a brand new car. Get one that's still fairly new, sure, but when you don't have much to spend, is better to buy used. A car loses around ~25% (i think it's around that much)of its value when you drive it off the lot.

Honda civic

I would post a pic of my civic from back then but I'm mobile and can't search it xd

If someone wants to hookm,e up and post it :)

Fiats are notorious for breaking down alot and I've heard they're also pretty unsafe, 80s cars tend to fall apart and 90s cars are one of the ugliest things I've ever seen. Oh, and it's been proven that cars that are generic colors like white, black, or grey are more likely to be stolen.

lol

Anyways, back to real things:

If you can push it up to $20,000, why not just do a few weeks of research to find which car you like the best? I mean honestly, you're being handed stufftons of money and you can't get off your ass to put some real thought into it? Even just an hour or two would be a great start, I get asking the forum for help but we're stupid as stuff and you really shouldn't trust us.

I think I'll just end up with a 2014 malibu for 19k. See one online locally with 4k miles. Looks decent enough, and has everything I want.
