It's mostly the glitch (which will be fixed next patch) that now your Q applies luden's echo.

It's not a glitch. Runeglaive CONVERTS your next attack into magic damage, key word is convert. Since ez's Q normally does physical damage, it doesn't proc luden's or rylai's or stuff like that. But since Q also has on-hit effects runeglaive converts the physical into magic damage, procing luden's echo. So yeah it's not a bug
