will this work for basically just microsoft office and youtube?

i feel i might have made it a bit too overpowered for just office and yt.

also he h8s windows 8.

overkill PSU, and you dont need 8gb of RAM for office and youtube

holy stuff you only need like a 550 watt psu.

in my honest opinion if he's going to be running various different programs with youtube and accessing different stuff all at one time 8 GB is something to have and keep forever.

not saying you need it, but its nice to have.

also that motherboard has some shaky reviews on newegg.

Why that i3? There are better i3s for cheaper, like the 4130.

That CPU is overkill for his purposes.

I made it $100 cheaper minus a case, and it will be a better performer too

So yah, pick a case, and there.

Why would you spend this much of a work computer
IMO just buy a laptop if you're using it for work

isn't 2 tb overkill
The HDD is the only thing that isn't overkill. They're pretty cheap

why build a comp that is only for these uses?
some laptop or tablet will do the trick.

I try not to change things like that that are personal preference when altering people's builds. Same reason I don't pick cases; it's basically personal preference and doesn't really effect performance that much.

It probably is, but there was a 2TB HDD in the original, so I put 2TB in this one.

are you like those people who put their tech level to 5 because you built a computer

yeah op what are you doing. just buy some 300-400 laptop and be done with it

why would i ask the forums for advice if this was true?

he wants to build. He says he wants to get more bang for his buck. Plus he wants a tower. Not a laptop.
