Either that or there was no 4G Moto G when I bought my phone.

In any case, 2nd gen Moto X is fugly so I'm glad I got the 1st gen.

i got my moto g in december last year, its p good. I've dropped it multiple times to, only little dent on the back and that's it. I don't even have a case

I don't have a case either

I've been pretty careful with it. It's too beautiful to put a case on it (it's my second favorite phone when it comes to aesthetics, with the original Moto X being the best).

i almost bought this but wanted pure android so i forked the extra few hundred dollars on a nexus 5.

this has essentially stock android though, there's like a few motorola apps but that's it
