1: Did you vote in the recent Midterm election and why or why not
I'm not old enough to vote. Even if I was, I still wouldn't. I don't support the government in any way, shape, or form.

2: would you support making voting easier how would you go about it/why not
No, because I don't support anyone in politics.

3: should there be incentives to vote such as tax breaks?
No.

4: how do you prepare for an election/get informed
I sit back, relax, and don't vote.

5: how would you encourage others to vote in future elections or should we not
I don't. In fact, I encourage the opposite.

Can you loving leave the United States? Please. We don't want you here. Go to Cuba if you want to sulk in your own vat of self-entitled, anarchist angst.

Or mexico. I hear the government is really corrupt there, to the point where there almost isn't one at all.

Jimmy Hamilton (not my real name)

1. I did not vote because my pencil broke and I was too lazy to mail it in

2. No, it doesn't need to be any easier

3. Voting is a choice, not a law. If you choose not to than you choose not to.

4. It depends how important it is. This didn't matter much to me because most things didn't concern me, but I usually try to find non bias or bias towards me articles.

5. No, if someone doesn't want to vote their opinion is literally dirt in this case

I'm not old enough but no one cares or will know

Anarchists could always move to a remote island and enjoy living off the lamb. Don't know why they would stay in a governed land unless they couldn't afford to go anywhere else

they'd just end of killing each other. they might last a little bit if they don't end up saying any government like faction forms, like a leader of a small band

I don't vote because I'd rather not be involved in anything political. To me it is all complete crap. Various people lying and badmouthing their opponents in order to get on top. I don't see a point as in my opinion, my vote won't matter anyway. Especially in the presidential election. It isn't our independent votes that count. Only the electoral colleges or whatever matter. Votes may sway the electoral college but in the end, they can vote for whoever.

I also don't follow politics enough to make an educated vote, and I have no motivation to. It is impossible to follow all the promises this person makes, and all the mistakes the other person makes, it is just a show to get to the top. If I voted it would be totally random and pointless, so I don't bother.

This isn't some anti-government thing. I have no issue with the government. I simply don't care enough to do something which in the end won't matter anyway.

I would have voted, had I been old enough to vote.

I would support making voting easier, but I don't really know in what way.

There shouldn't be taxes in the first place. People should vote if they want to vote.

I would read the news and see which candidates best support my interests.

I'd tell people they should vote. Nothing more.

I pretty much agree with this. I lost faith in voting due to those ads that "mudsling" other candidates.

I thought it was a common rule not to talk about the negatives of other candidates.

1: Did you vote in the recent Midterm election and why or why not
Yes. Why would I pass up the opportunity to be able to give my opinion on how I want things done?

2: would you support making voting easier how would you go about it/why not
Not really. Voting is already extremely easy. I voted using mail this year, the ballot was shipped right to my house, I filled it out, and stuck it in the mailbox. I literally didn't even need to go to the polls.

3: should there be incentives to vote such as tax breaks?
No. If someone doesn't want to vote, don't force them to.

4: how do you prepare for an election/get informed
Information is provided at the time you vote. For me, an entire portfolio of information concerning everything on the ballot was included with the voting form. Aside from the fact that I already know about a lot of things going on at my local government level by paying half attention while I walk around, that was pretty helpful.

5:how would you encourage others to vote in future elections or should we not
I don't see why people need to be encouraged to vote. If they think their opinion is that worthless, then they shouldn't need to be coerced into voting. Leave voting to the people who actually care, that way results aren't muddied by people who really don't care but just vote one way or the other.
