I thought it might be interesting to play as a lost VDV cadet. Quite obviously, he is a normal person, albeit trained for survival in Russian environs.
If the weapon is your main gripe, may I point out that it's merely a pistol with no ammunition?

Of course. That's actually what my intent was when I added the Yarygin to the list.
