I just feel like this whole situation is ironic. The rioters are propagating the racial stereotypes that they hate.
no they aren't... I'm not a fan of the rioting either, but they aren't doing it because of their race.. it has absolutely nothing to do with them being black, other than the fact that they're unhappy with the way white people treat black people

I rly doubt you'd say all these white people are also perpetuating racial stereotypes

People who riot are morons.

"ugh its so unfair that tribal white people always stereotype us as criminals"
*riots, loots stores, gives the tribals "proof" that will ensure that this stuff will continue to happen*

you're literally blaming racism on black people

People who riot are morons.

No, I'm blaming the perpetuation of a stereotype on the people who perpetuate the stereotype. Don't put words in my mouth.

Oh it's on now.

a "stereotype" is racism. you're saying that racism exists because of what black people do. your argument (maybe not yours exactly, but the argument of person who I was talking to, which I assume you agree with) is that black people shouldn't do something, because tribal white people expect them to. you're saying that their doing that thing is why tribal white people continue to expect them to do it. which is blaming racism on black people

Yeah that's the entire point. If you don't want it to be a race issue don't make it a race issue and loot stores when justice is served then say you're a bunch of innocent black people trying to live in this oh so oppressive country.

stereotypes are founded in reality

True.

But they're also lazy as stuff.

I don't think you understand. it's a race issue because mike brown was killed at the hands of a cop, one way or another, because of the kid's race. whether it was a more direct, "I'm gonna kill this kid cus he's black" kinda racism, or something more subtle, like him just being more afraid because of the stuff he believed about black people, it was about race. even though I doubt you'll agree, it wouldn't have happened if the kid was white. most likely the kid wouldn't even have been stopped if he was white
the murder is a race issue
the riots, on the other hand, are not. the closest it comes to being a race issue is the simple fact that they're mad about a race issue the police have
