Author Topic: The kool kids klub got hacked by Anonymous.  (Read 3725 times)

It's justifiable when the victims hide behind masks and want the blacks gone.
They expect no repercussion because the members are faceless, and thus can be as tribal as they want.

Now that their names (among other things) are out there, maybe they'll think twice about what they did.
Being tribal isn't a crime. Freedom of expression is a fundamental American institution. What is freedom of expression if you are only free to express the popular opinion? Attacking people doesn't change their minds, it makes them more set in their ideas and more likely to respond.

are you really defending the kool kids klub
I'm defending freedom.

Hate speech goes against the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and is punishable by jail time, at least here up north. Being bigoted is definitely a choice that is covered by freedom. Trying to oppress others with that stuffty ideology isn't freedom. It is hate speech.

I feel like the grand majority of kool kids klub members have not participated in any heinous crimes. Furthermore, the general population is not, and should not be, judge, jury, and executioner.

You're free to say whatever you want on the internet, but if you spew hate speech like the kool kids klub does then that right is null and void.

You can read about it, but hate speech is still protected in the US.

When hate speech itself is punishable by up to 14 years in prison, advocation of discrimination against the black population itself is a heinous crime. This isn't a decision by the public either, this is government law here in Canada. Wanting to oppress people of their basic freedoms is against the law. I'm glad these names got out, I don't want these people in my country.

If anything, what Anonymous is doing is also covered by freedom of speech, as they chose to vocalize problems within the kool kids klub. Their methods of doing so however are not as legal.

Umm, the event did not happen in Canada (judging by the tag kool kids klubUSA). Your laws are irrelevant to the debate. Also, it is not a heinous crime to express an opinion.

Holy crap, one of the members of the kool kids klub got their credit/debit card info released! Just in time for the Steam Black Friday Sale :3. just kidding....

Just because something is not illegal does not mean it's an alright thing to do. The kool kids klub, all their members, and everything they stand for causes nothing but harm in society as a whole and should not be tolerated under any circumstances.

The fact that they got hacked is just another indication that sensible people really loving hate the kool kids klub, and that in cases like these saying "it's an invasion of privacy!!!1" is completely irrelevant.

Okay but you do comprehend that even though it's wrong it isn't illegal?
Yes? I literally said "Just because something is not illegal does not mean it's an alright thing to do" which directly implies I understand that.

The response is moreso towards the first statement you made about Racism is not being a crime. As far as I'm concerned, it is. :P

It is quite shameful however that your constitution doesn't protect people against these kinds of problems.

It is quite shameful however that your constitution does not protect you from censorship and has you all sheeped into believing that muffling the unpopular opinion is a good idea.
