Author Topic: Is there a way to disable the names for SMM?  (Read 727 times)

Is there a way to disable the names(Ex. Blockhead15312 is called John Doe once he spawns) for SMM, and make usernames(SMM hides the real username) visible at a distance again? If thats not possible or would break the gamemode, then what about making it show the username in addition to the real name when you mouse over/spectate a player?

Here's the pros and cons.

PROS
____
your friends can find you

CONS
_____
Know whose who and murder them.
Death
Money...

I honestly prefer it without the "names" like John Doe. Makes it slightly easier to detect and ban RDMers.

there is no RDM in SMM. stop trying to remove key parts of the gamemode so you can ban people easier.

There is no genocide in real life, then. Random Deathmatching does happen. There is always the starfish who runs around beating everyone to death.

/whois is a thing.
it literally tells you who is under what name.
Admin-only command.

When someone is deliberately running around killing people repeadetly and getting away scott-free with it, he should be banned.
If someone killed a guy under suspicion of him being a murderer and he was wrong, he shouldn't be banned.
