Author Topic: badspot requires the solutions in help now?  (Read 781 times)

i notice badspot most of the time unlocks threads and tells them to post the solution to solved problems in the help section. should this be a rule or something if he wants it done so bad?

Uh, this isn't new AT ALL. He's been saying "post your solution" since the beginning. It's also the reason he got rid of the edit function in the help section.

It's nothing unreasonable, having a thread that says "halp o nvm I magically fixed it" is a waste of space...not that half of the people posting problems bother using the search function, but that's a different can of worms.

He's trying to teach people to post solutions in case someone has the same problem in the future. It's bed side manners you no good sea urchin

he shouldnt have to tell someone to post the solution all the time.

he shouldnt have to tell someone to post the solution all the time.

That goes without saying, but we can't have everything. Especially if it's people posting their solutions.

Badspot has been doing that forever. I read all of his posts.

I've been meaning to make an animated video on why he requires this.
>guy experiences weird crash
>finds 1 help topic like his crash
>person didn't post solution
>HOW DID YOU FIX IT _______? HOW???????

Relevant xkcd.

well if it was just a support ticket, you would be sending him issues by PM.
