I'll be happy to provide blockland-looking pokemon models (or sprites) for this once I get the time

But I believe sprites would work the best since I am totally capable of taking screenshots with perfect transparent background of the models and make specific poses on them (hurt, faint, idle, attack poses)

If you're willing, that would be fantastic. Sprites would obviously be fairly simple to implement by replacing current assets. Having models would simplify some matters quite a bit, however it would also cause some complications in regard to loading periods. Although, client-sided code would still be necessary, and models would obviously need to be included with the mod anyway, so perhaps it's not as problematic as I thought.

Regardless, it's a fairly heavy task. The first generation alone would require at the very least 151 models (not taking into account gender or shiny differences). I wouldn't ask anyone to do that for free.
