Looks like an ex-detective who was framed by some corrupt criminal syndicate that has connections with the local government, who then was fired and arrested on false charges, managed to escape, and now does the dirty work for a rival criminal ring, and seeks to do anything she can to sabotage the group that made her lose her career.
Wanted criminal, expert on all kinds of explosives. The kind of genius that can assemble an IED given the supplies in two minutes or less. Carries a sixshooter, a hunting knife, a wrench and wire cutters.
I mean it's your character, but this is what I first thought.
