Throw away the pills because going all test subject-y is a terrible idea. Instead, use the empty pill bottle to store the gunpowder.
Toss the spent shells away because who needs those.
Afterwards, go over and check what's inside the backpack. If there's enough room for the thermos and gun to fit, store them in it.

Feel free to ignore any of these if you want, I'm just tossing out ideas of things I'd do in that situation.

Is that a sawn-off Mosin Nagant or something?

Can't you just put the pills in the backpack?

Looks that way, Wouldn't really work 7.62x54mm is a large round ( .308 )

i own a mosin

i wouldn't stick a loving .308 down the barrel, it's too small

i thought you were a russian

edit: 7.62x51 is a .308 round. a 7.62x54r is not, it's a tad bit larger.

it looks EXACTLY like a sawed off mosin

It's a flintlock. Check out the second picture. Hence the gunpowder.

Flintlocks don't have bolts.

Christ, have you ever seen a gun before?

The heck? It looks (almost) exactly like a model one I have next to me.

However, I'm certain I could be wrong, so I won't really push the issue. Sorry.

You are wrong. I'm not here to stuff on you or anything, but you're wrong.

Never in my life have I seen a bolt operated flintlock. That's because it would be classified as a rifle, instead of a flintlock.

Maybe you could PM me a picture of said gun right next to you?

I don't have the tools necessary to do so (No cameras, no webcams, nothing)

but the specific model I'm talking about is that old gun they gave away at those Disney Pirates of the Caribbean rides, where the wood behind the barrel loops around the entire gun, making it bear a striking resemblance to the gun in the picture. (At least, the one I have.)

But again, as I've said, I will defer to your judgement. So could we drop this?

fun fact, all cartridges made by soviets are just a bit larger then NATO cartridges so that if need be they could load their weapons with them.

the idea that was if you ran out of ammo while invading America then that wouldn't be a problem.

also,

After a bit of fiddling, you figure out that you're supposed to pull the mechanism on top of the gun up, and then back. Looking into it, though, you see no bullets.

  • You know the drill. Reasonable action.
it's a flintlock obviously.

Its an Obrez, Not a flintlock

A surprise twist!

Noone was right, after all.

That is actually kinda funny.
Incorrect.
