insurance is more or less of a pot of money that tons of people put into, and some will need more money than others, some maybe not at all, and in the end it balances out with extra money left over
if i didnt have insurance id be paying off 6k in debt from an auto accident i was in, with it i only paid $500, the extra money came from the people who didnt take any money from the pot (or less than they put in) but put money in via insurance bills

Socialism works if there is constant flow of tax money. People that don't work/pay taxes usually have access to all the free servers which usually makes the tax payers upset.

you keep talking about how health care is pointless, and that you don't need it. But you would end up losing less money by having it and paying the tax than you would saving up the amount it would cost to pay off a full medical bill, depending on how sever your case was.
