So I have a coffee table in the center of my room and whenever I put something on it, my parents tell me to remove it.

Help me solve the mystery on why the forget I have a table which I'm not allowed to put anything on it. It really bothers me and makes me wonder why I waste 20% of my room's space.

Wooden coffee table and no, I put books and files on it and occasionally my laptop.
