I donated blood but got no cash :C oh well, atleast I'm sure there'd be no complications for one in the future.

The only thing that kinda makes me hesitate is the rare chance they forget to replace the needle, oh god.

donate marrow.
its a stuffty process that forgets your week up. but i got payed $2000 for it :D

bone marrow?
i need that, and removal sounds painful

nah they dont dig it out of bones anymore.
you get a shot of some drug every morning all week, then they plug you into 2 needles in your arms, and you lay there for like 5 hours watching movies and eating cookies.

its not THAT much different then giving blood. takes longer.

I dont know anyone, including myself, that has time for that. Sad, money might seem worth it. Id probably go skiing in canada or something

I am giving blood for the third time on Wednesday, I feel bad for you that your veins are too small to donate blood. Blood is a very valuable resource for people in car accidents and etc.

Didn't you donate marrow to your brother? I wouldn't of thought they paid you if you were donating to a specific individual.
Or did you do this after your transplant?

sounds loving painful

Why do you get paid for donating marrow in the first place?

I tried to give during high school and couldn't because for some reason I was subconsciously flipping a stuff and raising my blood pressure. lol

I get dizzy after small blood tests. Taking more blood than that would probably make me more than just dizzy.

Yeah that's how I got into it. That first time I didn't get anything cuz insurran e payed for it.

nvm

The entire process costs like 15grand just to do.
You can't donate just randomly you gotta be matched and that person is paying for it to be done.
But you don't gotta do it for free, cuz I'm a jerk ;)

But getting matched is easy because no one donates. So its quick to be called in.
I've done it 4 times last year
