Author Topic: Inverted Walk in Vehicles  (Read 1239 times)

Some sort of server script where the walk key is inverted in vehicles, meaning that you drive slow unless you hold down your walk key. Maybe even an energy bar for this.

i was thinking what it would be like to convert the walk key into a sprint key for general use as well
could be a fun idea

it would be cool if blockland had some kind of implementation of a sprint key. could also be disabled via a pref if hosters think it is cheating

What if instead it was a client sided cruise control toggle button

Holy stuff yes. Then you could set cruise control at any speed. This is a badass idea.

i think there should just be an option/hotkey in the client that lets you switch between having C walk and not-C run and the other way around

Keybind the C-walk to Caps-Lock?

The walk key is client-sided, you tell the server how fast you should move. I'm not sure if you can hack something together to invert it on the server side.

There's a toggle walk mod floating around somewhere.  I have it, and can post it later.

That's client sided and not related to OP's request.

This

You should be able to use the shift key though, by packaging onTrigger
Pretty sure I've seen vehicles with a "boost" activated by shift

Someone please make this. I can set a keybind and BAM! I can stay at a constant speed.

That sounds neat actually
I might do that if I don't forget
