So basically, if you chose something that was an extreme on the ph scale, you're screwed no matter what. You chose a strong acid, it becomes a strong base that forgets you up worse than an acid would've.
If you chose water... since water is 'neutral' on the ph scale, it technically would remain unchanged with these rules? I feel like this thread was trying to make mundane things into hazards and vice versa, but all it really did was change your saliva into something that's about as dangerous as what you chose.
OP needs a refresher on basic chemistry.
