I was almost hit by a Jeep Grand Cherokee last night when getting onto Interstate 64. I was changing lanes to get onto Interstate 270 (had to get over left, because the right lane went north and I wanted south). I looked over my shoulder and the Jeep was two lanes to the left, so I started signalling to change lanes. At the same time, he started to change lanes right (no signal, mind you). I didn't see him being in such a large vehicle with a roof pillar right next to my head, so he made a short honk. I hit the brakes because he was going faster than I was, so he pushed his way into my line of travel and we both went south onto 270.
Everything was good then, but I ended up behind him again about four miles later and he was driving 10 under the speed limit. When I used my signal to go around him, he immediately started going faster and surged forward, only to slow down again. I just moved over an extra lane, accelerated a bit harder, and passed him when he became stuck behind a line of cars trying to exit the interstate.
